Cheri Hattaway

Cheri grew up riding in Aiken, SC and competed in the hunters as a junior. She and her family bred hunter Thoroughbred and Warmblood crosses in the 1980’s. She is now revisiting that passion through breeding and raising Westphalians aimed for the hunter and jumper rings. Cheri covers all aspects of the breeding and young horse management from carefully selecting sires, foaling out the mares, all the way to patiently teaching the youngsters about clippers and wash racks. She has a wealth of knowledge to bring to the individual raising of each horse to bring out their fullest potential.

Jordan Hattaway

Jordan grew up riding and competing in the USEF AA 3’6” Junior hunters and pony hunters. She then went on the ride with the University of Kentucky Equestrian team and graduated from UK with a bachelors in Equine Science and Management. Jordan has developed many connections overseas with reputable breeders in order to find and import the best hunters and jumpers for the American market. Jordan is in charge of all the breaking and training of the young horses as well as the promoting and selling of show horses. Jordan makes regular trips to Europe to personally ride and try out each horse. She tries to primarily buy from breeders to present the best prices for Hattaway Farms, LLC clients as well as provide a full history on each carefully selected horse.
